Adventures of Winter 2025
Wow, what an incredible season we just experienced! It was filled with so many unforgettable memories, and we had the pleasure of meeting some truly amazing people along the way. It's astonishing how quickly winter seemed to fly by this year. Paul and I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at Just B Cruisin. The most exciting aspect of our adventures is the variety of activities we engaged in during our trips, and we are eagerly looking forward to sharing all those experiences with you!
This winter's weather in Florida was quite different from the typical patterns we are accustomed to. The season kicked off in November with a few warm days, which felt delightful, but that warmth was short-lived and only lasted a couple of weeks. Following that brief warm spell, temperatures took a noticeable dip, and when I say "cool," I mean daytime temperatures hovered in the mid-60s, with nighttime lows plunging into the 40s. While the snowbirds flocking to Florida were thrilled with the cooler climate, for us locals, it felt rather chilly, which resulted in a slower start to our business. We did manage to organize some trips, but swimming was off the table since the water was too cold for comfort. However, after the holiday season wrapped up and Christmas festivities concluded, we were finally able to get back out on the water. Although the temperatures remained a bit cooler than usual for Florida, we had an absolute blast showcasing everything that Cape Coral has to offer to our guests.
When Hurricane Ian made its impact felt here in Cape Coral in 2022, it certainly shook things up, and the water became quite murky for a time. However, when we ventured over to Sanibel Beach, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the water was remarkably clearer and bluer than we had expected. This winter, we were fortunate enough to see an abundance of dolphins frolicking in the waters, putting on delightful shows right next to our boat. While we usually spot dolphins each year, this season they seemed to be everywhere, which brought immense joy to us Floridians. Our clients were absolutely thrilled with all the dolphin activity, and we took many people out to Sanibel Beach. Everyone had a fantastic time lounging on the beach, enjoying lunch with refreshing drinks, and watching the kid's swim. To top it off, they even got to witness a family of dolphins swimming by, which was a sight we haven’t seen in quite some time. It truly feels like things are on the mend after Hurricane Ian, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share these beautiful moments with everyone.
As winter gradually winds down, we are beginning to take a moment to relax and reflect on the season. But don’t worry, you can still book with us in May! Just give us a call so we can coordinate and select the best day for your outing. The weather can be quite unpredictable, and at Just B, we strive to avoid rainy or windy days that could make the water choppy and less enjoyable. Our primary goal is to ensure that your group has an amazing time, so remember to reach out to us to book your adventures from May through June. Please note that we will be closed from July to mid-October to take a much-needed break and recharge before the next winter season. After our hiatus, we can hardly wait to see all our returning guests and meet new friends during the next season!
Looking ahead to next winter, we are excited to announce that it will mark our third season in operation, and we have some innovative ideas lined up for your family to enjoy while joining Just B on the water. We will unveil these new offerings as the season approaches, and we can guarantee that you will thoroughly enjoy the fresh experiences we have planned. If there is one thing we would kindly ask of you, it would be to continue sharing our Facebook page for all our announcements and updates. The best form of advertising is indeed word of mouth, and since we have so much fun with all of you, we are eager to meet and welcome more of your friends and family to join in on the excitement. Your support means the world to us, and we can’t wait for what’s to come!

Exciting Developments in Cape Coral we're thrilled about the growth happening in Cape Coral's waterways such as Slip away which open this summer! The expansion will provide us with even more fantastic places to explore and stop next season. This growth promises more opportunities for unforgettable experiences on the water.
